Carter and I were talking about what he learned in nursery.
Carter: "We learned about our bodies being healthy"
Mom: "What did you learn?"
Carter: "If my mouth went away I couldn't talk."
Mom:"What else?"
Carter: (thinking really hard) "If my nose went away I couldn't pick."

He'll get used to it. Swimming lessons are a must here in AZ. All of Cauley's family teaches private (including Cauley- well, he used to) and they just make the kids go under. The kids all scream, but by the 3rd-4th lesson, they learn that they are going under no matter what so they get used to it and actually learn to swim very quickly. My little 4 year old can jump in and swim across a pool, where he couldn't at the beginning of the summer last year. Once he gets it, he'll be a fish! Good luck!
